Immunity & Healing
This is one of a few workshops aimed at helping the working therapist to revisit the role of the bodies systems in the overall health and well-being of their clients. The Body has a number of systems working independently and together to keep us healthy and feeling good. When one of these systems is out of balance, it can have a knock-on effect on the overall functions of many other systems. In this workshop, we focus on the Lymphatic System (Immune System) and establish how this system, when challenged, can cause various symptoms of illness. We will also look at naturopathic ways in which we can facilitate balance.
I find myself talking to my clients ‘a lot’ about boosting their immune system. Most of what we do when stressed (or just plain busy) actually reduces our immune function, so this is really something to keep at the forefront of our treatment plans.
This course is suitable for qualified massage therapists, reflexologists, beauty therapists and Aromatherapists who wish to enhance their current treatments.
